Relax guys/gals!

Re-read my post (#11), especially paragraph 2. It starts out with "Seriously..." That should have been a big clue the 1st line was a joke! A JOKE! Get it? A JOKE! So, relax.....

If I could take a digital picture I would. I can't right now so, why don'cha contact the vendor and ask them for pics! Or visit their web site maybe? I'm sure they'll provide much better pictures than I could, if I could!

Now if ya' wanna send me your mailing address I'll take a 35mm picture and send it to ya' when I get the roll developed. Sorry, but that's the best I can do right now.

Calm down guys....

..rickko..
PS. I'm flattered at the research that was done reviewing my previous posts. Good job!

Relax guys/gals!

If you read the 3rd line of my post (#11) you'd see the first word starts out "Seriously..." related to the sentence above. That should've indicated to you that it was a joke, a throw-away line, A JOKE! Get it..., a JOKE! Geesh!

If I could send a digital pic I would. Right now I can't. What I can do is send a 35mm picture your home if you want to email me your address. I'll do it as soon as I develop the current roll in my camera but don't hold your breath as I just loaded it last week.

Like I said, it would probably be easier to contact the vendor for pictures. I'm sure they can provide much better detail than I.

Calm down doods & doodettes... life is good.

Oh, oh, oh.... great research done on my old posts. Its good to know we've got eager beavers on this forum.

..rickko.. It was a JOKE!

Let's try to post some pics

The Vette Net will fit in the trunk with the partition

Here is where you start the install

Here is one of the mounting brackets installed (1 one one each side)

Vette Net in with the cover up.

Here is where my seat release rubs the plexi

Full view

View from the rear

Will need to install a bit of weatherstripping here to keep the frame from rubbing the waterfall.

Sorry the pics are so small, but it was thumbnails or some really LARGE pics.

PM for the larger ones.

Hope this helps!!

I don't think that is the same unit Sponge is talking about. That is the older style Vette Net.

to see larger versions of the thumbnails, just cut&paste the pics URL... remove the "th_" and you'll get the larger version.

I must say, it is one cool looking piece.

Now if Vette Net wants to pay me to advertise their product I'd gladly take the time to take photos.

Seriously, I'm sure they can provide you much better photos than I could if you ask them.

All I can say is, it really does look good. It doesn't detract in any way IMO.

Plus I believe Vette Net has a lieniet return policy. Give 'em a call. They are in Riverside CA and have a web site as well.
..rickko..
all of that was cool... except for the first line. What's up with that?? Some thoughts are better not said.

on the intent of your initial post though. It's always nice to read others opinions of a product recently purchased.

One last follow up. I added a bit of weather stripping to the frame and it seems to do the trick. Used 3/8 thickness, which is just a bit too thick. The tonneau catches it ever so slightly. I will be stepping down a size. Again this would not be a problem if my seats weren't all of the way back. My $0.02 deposited. Hope you all have a better feel for the Vette Net.
