I cannot add to the advice you have already received here - Vetteran beat me to the "you can easily lower your car yourself" post.
I suspect that if you are going to LGM (and that's a good choice ) you can likely get the fellows there to lower your car to the stock limits for "nuthin". It's a 30 minute job if you stop and take a 15 minute break .

They're both great, personally like 21st CMC.
When you're ready to do the gears and torque converter let me know, I have a big fat comp/LPE cam worth 40 HP for you. I end up not being able to use it, but got it from the guys up at 21stCMC.
