Cracks me up about the 'clean look' reason for removal of the BSM. Personally I like the car better with the BSM and I have no problem with those who don't. The thing I find funny is that many of the same folks that want a 'clean look' without BSM will add facias and spoilers and a myiad of other 'add-ons' all over the car that again, personally, clutter the look .. but damn those BSM's! To even take the risk of messing up your door paint accidentally during the removal of the BSM just doesn't seem like a very good idea to me.

I'm disappointed in you guys. I put my 2 cents in last night about the BSM's figuring I'd be jumped all over, and no one did. I don't know if I like the new spirit of pacifism sweeping this forum!

My car is in the shop to get MCM , side splitters, rear spoiler and others painted and installed. Since the side splitter is going on, the BSM have to come off. I watched the shop worker take one side off and it only took him about 5 minutes. It will be all cleanned up.

In my humble opinion with no offense to any others, the above is the nicest car I have seen on this forum and needs no further improvement.

Please explain how he took it off. Did he rip it off with his hands? Tools required? And how do you clean the sticky stuff off the door?

thanks.

This my 98 that I removed them from last year. The car has VERY low miles and doesn't sit in the sun much though.

Your loathsome, ubiquitous attack on the righteouness of my BSM removal analysis crack has elevated my perception of and restored my faith in the activist nature of the CF membership. Pacifism is dead. Thank you.

I don't know what this quote means, but because of all the big words it must be true.
