Same here with it not being long enougf over the filler neck, I get out of my car anyway when they fill it up. They never hang the gas cap up on that little hook and rest it on the car. I go to one local station, and the owner loves my car, so he is always very careful not to drip.

The first mod I bought when I got my '04 Z06, even though I'm very careful, why take a chance? Never can tell when a pretty girl is going to walk by and distract you when you are gassing up!

It seems like a lot of people have it but I've never seen it mentioned here before. I think people are embarrased by putting a cheap rubber product on their baby!

I think its kind of like this: A lot of people like Hootie and the Blowfish and like their music, but would never come right out and say it!

I've got one of those gas bibs with a corvette logo printed on it. Mine fits snug around the filler neck. Never had a problem with it falling off. Plenty of room to fold it up and close the door. I tend to drip gas every once in a while and the bib helps. It was one of the first things I bought after my first fill up.

Mine also has the Corvette logo, folds up fine, and protects me from myself.

Just put one on today...$5.99 from Eckler's, and cheap insurance. The material is very flexible and folds neatly into the compartment.

I have the one with the vette logo on my '01 and a plain one on my daily driver Nissan Altima. I really prefer the plain one, fits and folds in better. Both purchased from MidAmerica

Best protection is avoiding paying the high prices . I paid $2.63 for 87 octane for the Altima today 4/7. Premium was $2.89

You mean they still have full service around? Wow, I thought they went out a long time ago.
