Default C6 headlights on a C5?

What would you think of putting C6 headlights on a C5? Would there be interest in a kit with hood, bumper, and fenders that would allow you to run C6 headlights on a C5? I think the lights are much better looking than the replica C5R headlights, plus it would be OEM lights.

I would expect that with the cost of replacing all those parts, plus the headlight modules, noone would be interested because of the price. I have yet to see a good quality, good lighting, reasonably priced fixed headlight kit come out for the C5. I'm waiting to see what mray (I think that's his forum name) comes up with later this year....

Lets just say the kit would cost around $5k complete, but the C6 headlights are also HID. And you could even get a blower hood for the maggies.

Im actually looking into doing it i found C6 headlights for 800 a piece which doesnt seen to be too bad just need to talk to my bodyshop about some custom work. If the ricers do Skyline Headlight conversions why cant we use our own GM parts to make something happen. I love the C6 headlights just not the C6 rear. Anybody care to photoshop something for us???

I agree, I love the C5 and I also love the C6 headlights. I dont like how short and narrow the C6 is, I think the C5 would be perfect with the new lights.

Is there a poll choice that says, "Not no, but HELL no"?

I could see wanting to put C5 headlights on a C6. Why in God's green earth would anyone want to go in the wrong direction?

Well there are other non pop up lights that really look cool on C5s. I would personally never put C6 lights on my C5

With all that you would have to change, I'd say no to the switch. But I do like the looks of the lights on the C6 and I like my popups on the C5.
