Why can't someone just make the C5R kit with true HID projector lamps.

I love the HID lights but I hate that Viper look from the C6 headlights.

That said, those Photoshop photos do love awesome....

You'd have to pry my flip up lights from my cold, dead hands!!

(In case I wasn't clear, that means "no"!!)

Are you ???

The C6 headlights are

Needless to say, I voted NO

The C5 here just makes the C6 look like one of those 3/4 size mockups.

i don't think it's possible unless you redisign the nose of the c5. the profiles of the front bumpers are too different. i like the look of those photoshop pics, but i don't think it could be executed. If I ever have enough free time i'll model the c5 and try to show if this can or can't work.

I could see wanting to put C5 headlights on a C6. Why in God's green earth would anyone want to go in the wrong direction?

Wrong direction? As in going backwards? Someone must be stuck in the 50's. How many autos these days come with a pop up headlight? Especially a pop up headlight that is as poor in performance as it is in looks like the C5 headlight? I love the C5 but the headlights are junk. The car loses it's beautiful lines and curves as soon as they pop up. The are lousy to adjust and they perform as well as the headlights on my first car....a 73 Olds Omega. Bravo to the GM designers who finally have caught up with the rest of the world and put a up to date lighting system on the C6. It is about time.

I like the C5R lights.
I would think that with the costs of switching to C6 lights, there won't be a lot of takers.
