I did (NorCal). I have european taillights so the turn signals were not impacted. I am interested in swapping out the turn signals with LED's but need more information on how to resolve the quick flashing problems experienced in this forum.
The quick flashing typically needs more resistence in the system to "cure." In the old days we just used a different plug-in flasher. Apparently, that's no longer an option, so you will need to add resistors to the lines. It will probably take some trial and error until someone finds what works reasonably well for your particular setup (Euro-lights), since I seem to recall some wiring changes being necessary with your setup.
Of course, one person's flashing rate might not please another, but it would be a place to start. Maybe you'll have to "invent" this wheel, but who knows. That's why the Forum is so great; it's really hard to be the first to do anything here!

All the best.
Yeah, well, I have always been on the "bleeding edge" when it comes to writing software so it's probably time to jump into this European taillight LED turn signal swap. My vette is a daily driver so I need to pick a weekend (or vacation time) in case there are problems. Ed
I can't believe no one's figured out, or at least shared how to modify the OEM signal flasher module by now. Is it hard or nigh impossible to cut it up, or MacGuyver it to ignore low current?
I noticed when I put in LED brake lights, the signals would flash crazy quick, but the hazard function was fine. Then, I installed LEDs in the DRL, and now both signal and hazard functions result in crazy quick flashes.

Paint your old bulb black, determine which lead (on the bulb) is the turn signal element and put it back in the cicuit in parallel with the LED bulb. The car thinks nothing's changed.
