I just received a Wolf Cover after debating over it for some time. A Corvette speciality shop told me that you need to remove the covers when it rains Is this true? The instructions make no mention of this..
Doesn't sound right to me but I wanted to ask this learned body. Thanks!
Why would you take it off when it rains? Protecting the car from the elements is why I bought it in the first place.
I used a Noah Weathershield when I lived when I lived in a condo and it stayed on the car during rain, snow, sunshine, whatever. I cleaned the cover about every six months per the instructions and it served me just fine.
Is your cover one of the cotton / flannel covers for indoor use only? These covers are not typically treated for water repellency, so it will absorb the water (rain). The issue would be leaving this soaked cover on the car for any length of time. Could cause paint damage.
I've also used a Noah for about a year now in everything from snow, ice, rain and hot sun and it works great. Just be sure to get a cable/lock to keep it in place during windy conditions.

That's the cover I bought, the noah wolf cover. It's an outdoor cover and the Corvette specialist was talking about an out door cover not the indoor, dust variety. I did buy the lock and cable as well as the storage bag (bag on backorder). Thanks guys!
