Finally fixed my annoying window rattle. Had to remove the door panel and speaker. Once I removed the speaker I could see that the rubber bushing had road up on the window track mounting stud. The stud hitting the window track is what was rattling. I push the bushing back into position, with the help of some liquid dish soap and that fixed the rattle. I also added some velcro to support the window closest to outside of door. The window is nice and tight now. Total time to do the repair was 1.5 hours. Here are some pics I took.
Well done!! And congrats on posting your results. To many don't and with pics you get 10 points. If I am ever in the door panel I'll be checking the rubber bushing.
Thank you for your input and the pictures provided which were most helpful. Fortunately I don't have any rattles at present, but know they are common. This would seem a likely cause and I've made note of your repair.
Is it a rattle only when you close the door or was it even when you were driving? I notice my drivers door does not close as solid sounding as the passenger door. Could this be the same problem?

The rattle was noticeable more when closing the door but was also present when driving. A quick check before pulling the door panel off would be raise the window 1-2 inches from it's bottom position. If the rattle is not evident in this position then I would suspect the bushing. Good luck to you.
I had this same rattle, did this proceedure and the rattle went away for around 3500-5000 miles. Rattle comes back... does anyone have a more permanent solution?
