Help! Tire Fitment Question

Hi Guys..I need to know if my 2001 C 5 will accept a 285/60/18 tire on an 18" rim..Pros / Cons.

You didn't really give enough info about your plan. Clearance issues aside, one con is that series tire won't handle very well. You planning on running the same F&R? Cause you do need to keep the O.D.s of both relatively close, which I'm sure you already know.

I don't know how old you are, but I remember when 60 series was the lowest profile you could get, it was very sporty. This was when tire width was not indicated by #s, but by letters
