You said you wanted honest opinions.

One of the reason's I didn't buy a C6 is I don't like the blacked out piece used across the bottom in the rear.

I'm a fan of the one-surface look on the rear of C5's. This product seems to replicate that C6 look somewhat so it would not be for me.

What about shrinkage over time? I don't know what material you are using but do you think the seams will eventually appear after lots of exposure to hot and cold situations from season to season?

Great idea though. Good luck,
..rickko..

FWIW...That is a concern BUT...The field testing now going on is for fit and finish only. The vinyl being used is a special removable ORACLE matte black. This will give us the look we want and the seams are absolutely invisible ...but again for fit and finish only.

The finished product that will be available for sale will be of a higher quality high performance vinyl ( available in several colors) and there is a extended 3-5 year no fade and no shrinkage life as per the manufacurer( I believe we are going with a 3M product, maybe an Avery) This should keep everyone satisfied with the product.
Thanks again for the comment. As it is There is a 50% approval for this product and I am very pleased with that level of interest. Remember this will a removable product. If your leasing your vehicle or just don't want to make the committment of painting your car it's a great reasonably priced option to have available. Stay tuned...

I can attest to that. I bought the first set of CE stripes and am in the process of removing them again. They shrunk to the fact that glue came out on the outside edges and once removed, it comes come back out after a few days. Looks pretty ugly on closeup.
The reason for this according to the vendor is that the material was stretched during installation to get the bubbles out. I also want to say he was very courtious and provided me a second stripe set to fix the problem.

Besides this your product certainly looks good.

Ilike the idea...
...StuzVette could possibly use upper fascia graphic...

...photoshop would be my first option...
But for the Approx $20...I might go for it without a test
