This message started popping up when I turn on the car, and when I turn it off. I tried going into competitive driving mode, and nothing happened. Does anybody have any idea of what the problem might be? I don't know if this will help but I have a 2001 A4 Coupe.

 

I started a thread about this a week ago. I started getting "Service AH, Service ABS and Service Traction control on the DIC. When it comes up, it disables the TCS Button.

According to many, the problem seems to be related to the speed sensor in your wheel hub or wiring harness. But you need to check for codes. Chances are you are getting 1 or more TCS codes. I got a "RF Wheel Open Circuit" code. I will know more tomorrow when it goes in the shop.

 

I had the same problem and someone posted a thread regarding the exact location of the GP's. Pics and all.
I loosed the GP "G402 electronic suspension control module (esc)" cleaned it with contact cleaner, reset the bolt and have not had a problem since. I've since cleaned all of my connectors and everything seems to be working well. Took time, but was well worth it.

I had to replace the EBCM Module on my 01 A4. I had the same problem.
I think my code was C1288

 

Pardon my ignorance, but what is a "GP"?
