I watched it a couple of times and couldn't believe that guy just stood there with the extinguisher and didn't do anything till I guess he saw other's coming. Really sorry this happened. Not a pretty sight. But your OK so everything else is inconsequential.

That is one sad video to watch. If the yo-yo holding the ext. would have used it right away much would have been saved. I had a Blazer burn up on me, State Farm saved the day. Best of luck.

I know the situation is bad enough, but why didn't James grab an internal fire extinguisher and put it out himself? I always carry one just for this purpose. Or at that track is it mandatory, that you have to wait for someone else to put it out?? Sorry for the melting glass, but I would have been on that heat in a second!

I hope you insurance company takes care of it. I called to get extra track coverage on mine and they stated that under no circum stances would they compensate even a penny of loss for accidents of any kind at the track.
