Trans temp DIC question

Trans temp DIC question
My vette is a 97' MN6, and i was just wondering why it doesn't have the trans temp in the DIC? Do the later models only have this, or whats up with mine? Thanks guys!

You have a manual transmission. Trans temp is for A4s.

I don't think I've ever seen one on any manual car - not just C5s, as far as I can remember.
Gear oil in a manual is very thick and viscous and the temperature stays pretty static - totally unlike slush boxes which work by hydraulic action. You NEED to know if an automatic is overheating or it could be "Game Over" for your bands, planatery or sun gears.
