I made this easy. Brought her to a hand wash detailer and had her done in and out. Beat the daylights outta washing her myself (not to mention that they dry her completely including using an airhose to blow out all the water from all the crevaces and sideview mirrors. Then I took her home and tried Meguiars NXT Tech Wax for the first time. It went on super easy and came off the same with very little residue. I'm very pleased but haven't waxed a car myself in some time now and don't have much to compare it to. The pics didn't really come out that great and don't do the job justice but I couldn't resist taking them and showing off. I'm fed up with the tire blacking products. No matter how much you wipe the residual off, it splatters all over the car. PLEASE tell me what won't do that. BTW, she's a 2000.

Looks great! Have you tried the Meguiars Endurance tire gel? I use that along with one of the foam wheel applicators and it doesn't sling off. There some others out there, but this is the one that comes to mind right off.
the trick with almost all the tire gels is...apply it to the applicator (just enough to get the tire its shine)...VERY LITTLE OF IT...and rub it onto the tire...it doesn't sling off as much then (i use Eagle 1)
Looks great! I use the Meguiars Endurance on my tires and have had pretty good luck with it as far as slinging onto the car. It's not perfect but better than anything else I've ever tried. I want to try the Insane shine product as well. I've heard that it is even better.

Car's looking good. I use a product called V.R.T. from Adam's Polishes on my tires. Its a gel that goes on with a foam applicator. If you use it sparingly, it stays on the tires very well.
