What are the Pro/Cons on NOLOGY wires and Beru Plugs?
Good mod or not?
Does anyone have them on that can shed some insight?

I've been running them for about 10 years on my modified Harley big-twin. They are the cheapest few HP you can add.

I dynoed the bike with stock wires. Installed the Beru's and wires, dyno'd it again and picked up about 3% increase in HP.

They also improved mileage significantly. I regularly get in the low 50's on a long cruise. My best has been over 60mpg. Pre-Nology I got regularly in the low ot mid-40's

I highly recommend 'em.

I haven't started on the performance side of my Vette yet but WILL convert to Nology wires and BERU plugs. Its a no-brainer for me.

I figure it this way: $400 for set. Adds 5% HP or (~17 HP). 400/17=23.53. That's $23.53 per HP! Where else can you addon HP for $25/HP? And its a plug 'n play mod!

PS. I have NO financial or personal connection with NOLOGY.

I've got to add something to my post above. A negative!

On a m/c (well my m/c) its not a problem but, for those wires to be most efficient they require non-resistor plugs. Non-resitor plugs WILL CAUSE STATIC ON ALL STATIONS OF YOUR AM BAND ON YOUR RADIO.

If you never listen to AM, this will not be a problem for you. I don't have a radio on my Harley so its not a problem.

Another PS to my post above. I ordered the wires, then I talked to the tech at Nology who mention about AM static. Since I listen to AM as much as FM CD's and tapes I decided I didn't want to hear my plugs through my speakers so I cancelled my order.

He also said, one can run RESISTOR plugs with the Nology wires but you lose about 50% of HP you'd have if you ran NON-RESISTOR plugs. I opted out 'cuz now it wasn't adding up cost-wise.

I've always been skeptical of these, i've read several reviews by various car magazines, and still am not convinced they are worth the $.

Here's one opinion (scroll down a bit to the capacitor wires section):

Here's another (again, scroll down - interesting note about the emi):

I just revised my opinion, after reading this, I'll never buy Nology:

Personally, i went Magnecore - great wires.
