Just finished the install and all went fine, BUT now when I accerate I t feels like the rev limiter kicks in for a few seconds. Any one have an idea what might be going on?

You probably need a tune. Your car will be running very rich after a header install.

This is true. Get a good dyno tune using LS1 edit. Mine gets to the rev limiter QUICKER too!!! Of course that is because...I CANNOT KEEP MY FOOT OUT OF IT!!!

When I was talking with a tuner about installing headers on mine, they did recommend an LS1 Edit session after the install. Good luck, I think you will like the headers on your car.

Thanks for the help, now I can justify that dyno tune I've been wanting.

Actually, you just need to drive it. Mine did exactly this and ran crummy for about 50-100 miles. Then it went back to running well....just a lot faster.
