Default Tire sensor washer??

We bought new wheels for the vette and I had the tires taken off last saturday and the TPM out. Before I took the wheels to the tire place I let the air out and dropped the TPM into the tires. I didnt notice any washers on the TPMs. I removed the nut on the TPM and all I remember seeing was a o ring. But on a post I saw for a dealership selling TPMs, part of the package had washers for the TPMs as well as o-rings.

this is the post I read

Just wanted to make sure I didnt loose something. I have the new wheels now and was going to put the TPM back on them and have the tires mounted.

Thanks,

Jason

Your on the right track, the 97-00 sensors' "washer" IS an o-ring. On the 01-04 it is a t-type o-ring good luck 2001-2004 Sensors

on the older style (97 - 00) the sensor has an o ring on it, then I think they have also came out with an o ring that goes on the outside under the nut due to problems, but maybe I'm wrong. On the newer style I believe the o ring is part of the sensor.

i think that's correct. sensor has an o-ring on/in it, then you put another on from the outside, under the nut.
