Steering column recall?
On my '01 Z, the recall for the column hasn't been done but will now that I know. What is the problem in there? I'm wondering if maybe it's electrical?

The anti-theft, column lock is a POS and M6s have to either get the Lock by-pass or get the computer re-flashed. From what people have said here the flash does not work most of the time. Almost all the people here get the lock by-pass.

Just read the thread. Yowza! Thanks for the info. but I'm wondering something... I tend to leave the keys in the ignition when in my garage and sometimes hear a 'clicking' from somewhere around the dash/firewall. When this occurs, my battery dies. Am I somehow burning out this column lock by leaving the key in the ignition and killling my battery?
