Hey guys - I just wanted to share a couple good experiences I've had with vendors in the last couple of days.
With the tragic news of Glenn's daughter and all of the negativity that seems to come up here from time to time, slamming the vendors, I felt like I should share something good.
First - I ordered a throttle body plate for my LS1 from Forum Vendor Mid America Motosports. When I received my package, the item shipped looked like this, except it is red letters on a black background.
As I said - I have an LS1, not an LS6. I was a little pizzed and very disappointed. I called them today to obtain an return authorization. I got a very pleasant operator on the line, who was very apologetic, and told me she would re-ship another right away, of course the one that says LS1. I asked her what should I do with the incorrect one - she told me to just keep it or give it away, but they didn't want it back.
So here's the deal - I know many of you guys have a Z06 with an LS6 that could use the plate. Make a donation to the American Diabetes Association in the memory of Linda Murphy - the information is in this thread how to do that....

Send me a P.M. with your mailing information and I'll send you the plate FREE, including shipping. I have only one but I have no desire to sit on it or put it on Ebay.... I'd rather give it away and have a donation made to this worthy cause. How does that sound?

NOBODY wants to do a good thing and get a reward? Come on you LS6 guys...make a donation in Linda Murphy's (GlennM27 late daughter)name to the American Diabetes Association and send a P.M. to me with your mailing address - and the plate is yours.
It doesn't get much simpler than that!
