I like the sound, it's quiet when I want it to be, and loud when I need it to be. But performance wise, is it better than a stock exhaust or a z06 exhaust? and does the system even remotely come close to a borla or a corsa exhaust in terms of performance?

Well, considering I only had them all of 2 weeks...It was a big difference over stock and felt the seat of your pants increase but didn't run a dyno. A lot more throatier than stock, no resonance or drone. They were just a little too quiet for me tho, sounded really good at WOT.
I have them too but mine are LOUD! I have H/C upgrades, TPIS headers, Corsa cross over and no cats. I bought the car this way and I have to admit, at WOT it is louder than I like. The LEO's can hear me from a mile away.
Those definitely look like Flowmaster muffs to me. I used to have them before I switched over to Borlas. The FM's are quite heavy (I noticed when swapping them out).. Not sure if there is any real performance gain with them.
