Oh nooooooooo!

Why did you sell it? Better yet, why are you leaving? We still like you!

Go find yourself a nice 79 now for cheap and restore it. Then you can still be a vette owner!

Wow, I sure must have missed something. Why did you sell the car? Even without the car you sure don't need to leave the forum.

When I was purchasing my house my vette was an issue with my mortgage lender as well. I proved on paper to them that the car was worth significantly more than I own and counted this as personal capital / net worth to show a higher credit score / rating. After this it was not an issue and was not brought up.

Too bad you couldn't sell it to your parents while the processing was going on and then bought it back after it was done.

These credit people are a pain, but you have to play the game too...

I agree with the others.....how do you think you're going to keep your finger on the pulse if you don't stick around?

I admire your decision to prioritze, but I'm not sure I could ever part with my car. I guess I would if I had to......but I sure wouldn't be happy.

Best of luck!

That had to have been the hardest decision to make! It's very important for you to stick around the forum to make sure "you haven't lost that lovin feelin". I'm happy and sad for you....Sorry to hear about the loss, and congratz on the new "Penthouse Pad." Like you said! Give yourself about a year...you'll rebound with another vette. Besides, this is not a permanent loss..You're just pausing
