Personally the wind doesn't bother me, but I know my wife would enjoy riding in the car with less wind
Looking for opinions on the Vette Net wind blocker.
Has anyone tried the new one with the polycarbonate instead of the mesh?
Thanks,

Personally I think it's a great piece...just bought mine and this is the first year with it. A buddy and I took a ride last weekend and he said he just cannot believe that with the top down at 80-85mph you can have a normal conversation.
Also, today I rode home and forgot to put it up. Didn't even notice it until I was cruising 70-75 and wondered where all the damned wind came from.
It makes an exceptional difference.
But at 300-400 bucks they are nuts. Keep an eye on eBay. Got mine direct from them on eBay for 99.00 plus 12.00 s/h.

I got in on the tail end of the group purchase (Thanks Heather, apparently I was at the far end of a very long tail) Anyhow, I'd ride my Harley without a helmet if they'd let me, so I don't mind wind. My wife however prefers a bit less breeze, especially when it gets cold. She loves it (the Vette Net), which means I get top down more, which means I love it! Beautifully designed & simple. The minor rattling was noticable, but not annoying, I may look for a solution for that though. Storage may be a bit of a problem on trips, guess I'll just pack one shirt from now on...
