Corvette= dust magnet!
This car attracts dust like no other I've owned!
I'm pretty sure it's due to the plastic body. Has anyone tried a set of static discharge straps that drag on the ground with any luck?

I'd rather have the dust than one of those JC Whittney specials.
I do agree about the dust though.

I have heard of people wiping them off with antistatic dryer sheets after cleaning, but have not tried it myself...

A California Duster only takes about a minute to remove a day of road dust. And a handheld Swiffer duster will do the interior in less than a minute. With a second pad the Swiffer will also clean up brake dust and engine dust real quick as well.
Here's the link to the Swiffer Duster thread:

Good luck!

I use the Cailfornia Duster also before I cover mine. Only problem I'm having now is the stinking bug's all over the nose. I love the weather getting warm and know the bugs are the price you have to pay. Just hate getting her all clean and 10 miles down the road you've got bug kill all over the front.

Speaking of bugs- for some reason when mine is clean I get a lot of bugs landing on the hood and trunk and just "hanging out"

Z6 takes care of bugs between washes and a California Duster does the rest.

No it does not. It removes the dust not just push it around. I bought 2 - they're that good.

Zaino (specifically Z-6) is engineered to be anti-static to reduce the dust attraction. Works great in my experience.

Get a California duster or a micro fiber towel and wipe her down every morning. It only take a few minutes and she’ll be good to go all day.

The car does attract dust. I use the California Duster to keep it under control.

Unfortunately, a day's worth of road dust on the Vette is like a week's worth on normal cars

Maybe it's a silver thing. I get the bugs camping on mine too.

You are right. They do attract a ton of dust. Like others have mentioned the California Duster is the way to go. I carry one in the car with me every where and they work super. The small version does a great job on the interior as well. I use either Z6 or Meguiars quick detailer on the bugs in between.
