Default Unseen Mods???

Hey gang, I wanted to know what I could do as far as Mods to my 2004 CE Vert to improve the power, performance and handling w/o taking the car too far away from stock? If money were no object, but you wanted to keep the look and sound of the stock Vert, what would you all do?

Thanks for your input. I love this forum almost as much as I love my Corvette. I wish I had time to drive it more. Got it on Feb. 1, 2004 and only have 5,900 miles on it.

Bilstein Sports shocks, Hotchkiss sways with heim joint end links, bump steer, Supermaxx headers with high flow cats through stock mufflers OR TTi, Blackwing, NAAAAAWS

Another way to go is C5-R 427 TTi through stock mufflers. Now that's a sleeper!!!

Hey great car. For my $/02
I say Procharger and cold air intake. There is much more you could add to the list but for fast street, stock looking, that'll do.
Best of luck do whats right for you.

Sully,

Slightly off topic but.... I meant to ask you this before but I forgot. What are the DISadvantages of the underdrive pulley?

Lower alternator charge? Runs hotter (because water pump is turning slower)? A/C not as efficient? Power steering not as responsive?????

I am tempted to install one because I know all the benefits - but I was wondering about the negatives.

EG
p.s. I already have 160 Thermostat with Fan Controller as well as the TB bypass - and the High Performance Hood Seal

Procharger whine will give the game away. Anyone with a brain will know it's not stock

Performance mods in my sig are very unobtrusive. Only visual clue is the ti exhaust tips, induction grills are almost never noticed.

Try a Procharger and some headers. Should give you a big improvement in power. Then some Z06 sway bars and shocks, along with some non-runflat tires in the Z06 size should make the car handle like a dream.

I really haven't noticed any negatives. I have a large BeCool radiator, so temperature is not an issue, even when running at the track.

I will be at Norris Motorsports tomorrow & will ask Mike what he thinks.

That's what I thought. Thanks for the reply - and thanks as well, Sully. I am curious what Mike N has to say as well.
