Hey Guys,
I got some pictures of my car getting worked on yesterday and wanted to post an update. I was struck by a horrible hail storm April 7th. Dealing with insurance and getting a new windshield has delayed the repairations, but its on its way now.
ICE
That's the ice that scratched up my baby.
Here is the work in progress. It's quite extensive and Im suffering Corvette withdrawl driving my other car. (honda civic hatchback )
Im getting the fuel rail covers painted Dark Bowling Green Met. to match the body. Also doing some extra work that insurance obviously wouldnt cover, front plate, mirrors, etc.
It should look awesome when its done. Thats what keeps me going. Working with a great body shop is key to a happy vette also. Tim Burke and Martin at Burke Corvettes are the BEST. They are taking good care of me. I'll have tons of pictures when its all finished.
Sorry you're having to go through it but just think - you'll have fresh beautiful swirl free paint!
(not that you had swirls before but fresh paint is always beautiful and since you're getting a majority of the panels done you don't have the matching worries about just doing 1 panel)
Hey Max, sorry you're going through withdraws! We could just start modding the honda for you Maybe it's time for an ironing board, a cofee can, an unpainted body kit, and a V-tech sticker?
I'm looking forward to seeing your finished ride! Cruising with a few vettes and Hondas slowest vehicle ever produced just doesn't work!

Good luck with the repairs. I got caught in a hail storm yesterday afternoon - thankfully not in the Vette. Did about $1900 damage to my daily driver. Good thing I have a good insurance company.
Yeah I saw your car there, I about died when I saw the hood and headlight cover. I'll say hi to it whenever I stop by so it doesn't miss the attention, although Tim and Martin will give it plenty Im sure.

Thanks Max
I was wondering if you could do me a favor the next time you are there... If work has been started on it, can you snap a few pics for me. Unfortunately living in Titusville, I won't be able to see it too often
Couldn't help but wonder as I looked at the picture of the front end if you have checked inside the front cross member to see if the build sheet is in there? Always curious if its really in there like they say...

Thanks Man!

No problem man, I work just a couple miles away from Tims, and I'll be stopping by often.

As a matter of fact, Martin (Tims main man) and I were curious if it was in there and sure enough it was, but very dirty. I took it out and I'll do something creative with it later as I already have a clean copy from NCM.
