After four months of continuous searching, I found the exact vette I was looking for in early March. I have been working on getting it ready for our first outing, a wedding in Northern California this weekend. Lot’s of wax and polish has been applied these past few weeks. Even went out and purchased a new bra for the trip. Now they are predicting RAIN all weekend. I am forced to take the wife’s car instead. I guess we will have to plan a trip to the coast within the next week or two, or I’m going to go crazy! Here are a few pic’s of my 2000 Nassau Blue all cleaned up, and going nowhere.

Sorry you can't take the Vette on your trip, but you'll have fun anyway and something to look forward to when you get home. Beautiful car you have there. I love that color. Congrats!

Just know the car is just waiting there all pretty and ready to shine when you take her out. Its funny how this color grew on me, I didnt like it back in 97 but over the years it has become one of my fav. Keep it shinny. Oh, just so you know, as a post stated this week, vettes dont melt in the rain.

Drive that car, man!! They have windshield wipers and you'll have fun cleaning it up again. That's what it's all about! See this post from last weekend:Vettes get wet in rainy parade.
road trips usually involve rain somewhere along the line - did you buy it to look at it in the driveway? May as well give it it first natural shower and get it over with.
