Your Vette has an oil life indicator built into the DIC/ computer. If your car is a garage queen I would change it once a year, otherwise you can rely on the oil life monitor which should be reset each time you change the oil. The monitor tells what % of oil life is remaining. Many change it at 50% or 40%. Some claim to put about 10k miles on their oil. The decision is yours!
Good luck whit your new ride. Mileage is an old school and poor indicator for when to change your oil. The Vette's computer will let you know the oil life remanning as indicated on your DIC or change it once a year and you will be fine. If you want to change it sooner, go a head it is your money.
