When I first got my '01 a few weeks ago, I ordered the laminated window sticker and build sheet from the Corvette Museum website. I just got them today. Given the price, was that stupid to do?
no it wasnt stupid, i got mine and its hanging in the garage, next to my temporary tag etc...

O.K. I feel a little better now. It seemed pricey for what it is. I'll have to convince my wife that it adds to the value somehow. By the way, the window sticker showed it came w/ 2 tops. I have just the glass. Am I to assume that the other one was a hardtop? Maybe the previous owner was a member of the FRC.
yea i little pricey i got my 04 with 3500 miles on it. i wanted the window sticker for it.I tried getting the sticker thru GM no luck. i did the museum thing too. igot the build sheet too. Its nice to have and as others said its for a good cause. As for the 2 roofs the guy id say sold the painted panel, i dont know why as i have both too and i love the look of the painted roof, but most folks like the clear one.
I did the same thing when I bought my 01 I made copies of my window sticker and ordered a build sheet for my 04(I couldn't find the build sheet so I ordered another one)
Not stupid at all. Makes for a good display, either at car shows or in your garage. Handy to get signatures on from notable Corvette celebrities too.
Like others said, it supports the NCM which is a good cause as well. I ordered mine and learned the same thing about the two tops. I found out that my previous owner had kept the glass top for his next car that didn't have one.
