I have an 02 M6 Coupe with a 12 disc changer but cassette up front and I hate it lol. Im think of getting a cd/mp3 deck but then id have to get a new changer (not happenin). I figure if I have a mp3 deck that can fit 150-200 mp3s if kind of evens itself out. What ya think?
WOW Cool, the guys at best buy told me i made need two adapters one for the bose system ($40) and another for the antenna ($11) can anyone confirm this? I have an 2002 with a bose system. Thanks!
You do need converters to interface with the Bose amps/speakers... look for PAC audio, I think thats the company which makes the adapter most people use.
I used one in order to add an additional amp/subs to my factory system.
I've never heard of one for the antenna...
perhaps someone else can chime in on that.
i installed a alpine 9833 it is a mp3/wma player , i put 400+ wma songs on one disc, really all i needed, i know i should have changed all the speakers with my upgrade but i just added a sub and amp with the hu, i used a soundgate adapter to keep the front are rear bose speakers, its sound great now. i have basically 2 8" subs up front and a 10 in the rear.
he is correct, phasing of the mp3 is imminent(robot voice). im real glad to hear about this after purchasing the avic n1,but, im gonna ipod my files real soon, add it mo my avic n1 and keep the pioneer for navi purposes(my voice) consideration ?
