mine are made from hockey pucks - perfect size. I used eye bolts (1" diameter eye) with most of the threads cut off so they didn't stick out the bottom of the hockey puck. Drill a hole right in th center of the puck, screw in the eye bolt so it is almost all the way in. If you've got it right you should be able to put them into the shipping slot, twist them clockwise and they should hold in place. Screw the eye bolt in or out to adjust until they stay in there for you.

go to your local sporting goods store (oshmans, sport authority, etc.. pick up a couple of hockey pucks.
got mine for $.99 each. then bought a couple of 1 1/2in eye screws/bolts at home depot for $.29 each... screwed them into the center of the hockey pucks...less than $6 invested for a set of 4 and use them often..

If you're going to make them yourself - http://97vette.com/howto/liftpads/index.html

Otherwise, buy from Elite Engineering for a great price in you choice of color. jmho

I just used mine from Elite Engineering when I had my new wheels put on and they worked great.
Sorry, just thought I'd throw that in. :o
