[I was all set to buy them when a dose of reality set in. I'm still in the process of buying a new house and with even 5% down, I'll need at least 15-20K in a few months for the downpayment. Though I could probably still swing it, I had to reprioritize my responsibilities.... and thus, the thought of spending 4K right now for wheels is something I shouldn't do.
PS -BTW, I have 18's all the way around now. One of the main reasons to change was to buy 19's and get bigger tires (in diameter) to fill in the wheel well.]
The house is an investment. If you are looking to fill in the wheel wells, think about lowering the vette and buying the house. Your going to need more cash than you know once you are in the house. Add wheels later.
Wow, Thanks guys... I appreciate all the advice. I think for now, I will just keep what I've got.
Eddie,
A special thanks to you. Boy, did that hit home. Every time I've bought a new home, it turns out to be more expensive just because of all the little crap that goes with it. (I'm sure she'll want new furniture also...)
