Battery problem update
Just got back from Interstate Batteries since Costco was out of stock of the Red Tops. Was running a special on the SC75U for 104.95. Put it in and so far all appears to be ok. Talked to the dealer about the problem and was told if the battery didn't solve the problem the alt. would be covered under the extended warranty. So, I'll keep my fingers crossed everything's cool.

Battery problem
Do not waite to see if it is the alternator because there is test equipment that can measure the charging system and that includes the alternator. This would give you the answer now and not later when your battery is dead.

When it comes time to change my battery......I'm going with the Interstate Battery. Not pleased with some of the stories about the "red" and "yellow" top batteries.
