Welcome to the fraturnity my brother, but beware...what you're being told about mods is absolutely correct.

I didn't think I'd spent any money on mods...well not MUCH money anyway...then I started adding it up. My first year I've put over $2,000 in mods on the car and I haven't even scratched the surface. It's still stock...more or less.

Best thing you can do right now for your financial health is go put your visa card in a baggie full of water and put it in the freezer.
