Almost hate to confuse this issue more than it allready is,but here goes

Service Column Lock Message DTC B2809
2001-2002 Chevrolet Corvette
The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in the PI.
Condition/Concern:
A customer may experience a condition of "Service Column Lock Message" with DTC B2809 set in the Body Control Module (BCM).
Recommendation/Instructions:
A software anomaly in the BCM can cause this concern if the BCM is not programmed correctly. The following procedure should be performed with the Tech 2 scan tool to correct the concern.
Build the Scan Tool as the vehicle having a manual transmission (No matter what type of transmission is in the vehicle.)
Properly select the RPO options on the vehicle and make sure that RPO CJ2 and C60 are not selected at the same time.
Select "Saved Options" and exit programming.
Clear all Codes and shut the ignition off for 60 seconds.
