Default New Wheels Installed

Finally!!! New Kuhmo ECSTA ASX tires. New tire pressure sensors. New C6 style chrome wheels. I took the photos right after I installed the wheels, so the car is sitting up a little from being jacked-up and let down.

Before (old wagon wheels)

About the rotors. I had just washed the car, so the dark color was just from the surface rust that seems to occur right after the rotors get wet. They are actually pretty new.

Yea. I know. Had my vette for less than a month and got new ones just because of that.

Those wheels look good, but those tires suck. Those tires squeel at the sight of the slightest corner, but at least they're cheap.

Your new wheels look great. Ain't it nice to get new shiney wheels on a black vette?

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. The Kuhmo's did squeal a lot on the first drive. Kind of like walking in a tiled hallway with a new pair of sneakers! I'm hoping they just need to be broken in. My other tires are Bridgestone Potenza Pole Position S03's and I'm sure the Kuhmo's are not nearly as good as the S03's.

Here's a couple additional photos after I waxed the car...
