cig lighter area

cig lighter area
Has anyone removed their ashtray and cig lighter/power supply and converted that space into a small storage area? Seems like a waste of space. If so, pics???!

I mounted my garage door opener control in there. When you close the ashtray door you don't see the control pad.

My garage door opener is stuffed where the ashtray would be, and I have a sirius/music keg controller sitting in front of that. Both get covered by the flip-down shield.

If you look close you can see where my ashtray used to be. I have an alum. panel with a bunch of switichs. Mostly for strobes and one for my reverse camera.

I've seen some owners put an XM radio in there, but not convert it to a storage area. Not a bad idea though.
