solution to love bugs.
When i got back home, I went looking through my shelves (yes, i have shelves full, three 24X56 shelves full to be exact
) of products and the best thing I could find was some simple green, figured 407 might be too harsh, i read over the contents and well it just said keep off hot metal idems and not recommended for leather .. so i figured i'd be fine on my paint. I added the Simple Green (about 2 fl oz) of it to 15 fl oz of water in a 25 fl oz spray bottle shook it up and gave it a go.
While spraying the frontend most of the bugs just fell off when the solution made contact. I then followed up by a water bottle full of water and soaked the front end .. then dried with a microfiber. Looks like it worked.
just thought i'd pass along my good fortune, as this is small enought to where it can be stored in the rear compartments.

i dont imagine another layer of wax would hurt.

When I first read the title I thought that maybe you found a way to completely exterminate them!!!

darn foreigners
My process is to rinse the big bugs off with a strong hose, wipe down with the bug & tar, rinse w/soapy water, dry.
The thing that's really bugging me
is that I can't seem to find 'em in the store anymore. The container I have is from last year, and I'll be running out soon.
just make sure your nose has a GOOD coat of wax. down here in FL i get the lovebugs. but with a nice coat of NXT on the car, all i have to do is rinse and wipe away.
simple as that. do it. it works.
