I'm a newcomer on this forum. I have enjoyed reading many of the posts and learned a lot about my C4 and C5. I have also had three successful parts purchases from great members here. Being new here I ask for your understanding if this topic has been raised before or worse, beaten to death. Maybe it's a guy thing or just me but in my thinking and maybe in my posts as well as reading many posts by others, I have taken for granted that there are just a bunch of us guys out there talking about our cars. I see lots of women driving Vettes around town and there are several single women in my local Corvette club. One of them totally blew the doors off of all the guys a while back at the drags in her modded C5 complete with Drag Radials. There was more than one shattered ego that night, believe me. My point is that there must be a number of ladies who look at or subscribe to this site. How Many? I don't recall seeing more than a handful of of posts that I thought were from women. Maybe its the names we use to identify us. FLYZLOW is pretty nondescript. Anyway, if there are lots of ladies out there and this isn't an exclusive good ol boys club I would like to know and see some post about your cars. My wife isn't the fanatic I am about cars but she got a taste of drag racing and beat some faster cars with a better reaction time. Looking forward to hearing from the fairer(Faster?) sex. That may spark some replies! FLYZLOW inPHOENIX
I think the ladies are too busy with modding their vettes to readily respond. As for me, I'm generally too busy looking at the ladies and their vettes to do many mods.
Used to race Sprints and neve saw a woman in an open wheel out there, but there were plenty back when I was drag racing that excelled at the sport.
Had a young lady in a 56 Chevy with a 265 + PowerGlide that tore up all that went up against her. Her husband built the car (she could turn a wrench also) and she tooled it down the strip.
I had to spot her 2 secs with my 327 S/W and I had to do all I could to beat her.
I've seen a lot of women tooling Vettes and it's funny because they are not like women that drive other cars. Never saw one putting on makeup or talking on a cell phone. Must be that they take driving a Vette seriously.
I'm all for women driving Vettes. Besides they will wave more often than not.
My .02 pennys in.
I'm a female 'vette owner. I've had three: All triple black verts. My husband doesn't understand my fascination with them at all... and he certainly isn't aware of the money I spent/spend on them. The Borla Stingers I just had installed? $300. I've got a credit card I use just for 'vette related expenses... using my work address.

I've encountered a handful of ladies who are Vette owners--there are a couple ladies at the train station with Vettes and one grandma kept up a very good clip down the freeway alongside of me...
