The Chevy Dealer where my Corvette Club meets told me a woman in her late 70's from Sun City comes in every year to trade up to the new Vette. She is driving a new C6! Gotta Luv that!
The real question for you Mr. Grumpy would be ... do you have a bro?
Oh, on a serious note, there are lots of girlies here, Me, Oyealiz, Red Rocket 2004, BoopsC5 and the list goes on and on and....
My first vette was an '89 white vert and I'd had this one since Sept '00 but it's a 2001. It's not a daily driver but when I do drive it I wave to ALL cars
Corvette drivers come in all sizes and both sexes....it's a passion we all share .....I'm truly amazed at the amount of information available here.....you gotta love it!!!! ...oh, and GaDoll is definately female! (GeorgiaDoll)
If you can't tell by my name, I am a Female vette owner as well. I'm not on the forum daily but try to get on at least a couple times a week.
As I have mentioned before, I traded my ex-husband off on my 78 Silver Anniversary (good trade I think)
Last spring I bought a 04 black coupe for autocrossing & Drag racing.
I have loved and admired vettes for as long as I can remember.
I am a rare bird in my area, I am the only single female in my vette club, not to mention, almost the only single person. Two single guys that rarely attend meetings. Our club is mainly couples.
Being the only female in a group of men isn't new to me, as you can probally tell by my name, I am also a volunteer firefighter, the only female on the department.
I'm another female vette owner. My husband and I each have a C5, neither of us wants to be the passenger so we always have mini caravans when we go places. We've done some drag racing and autocrossing and just enjoy the drive.
44 oz. of coke does fit nicely all over the passenger seat
Thanks for the post Lori. Nice to hear from another Happy girl driving a Vette. The bonus for me is, now I know how to fix my cupholder problem. I have learned to drive with a 44 0z. in my lap after learning the hard way how pathetic the cupholder is for anything bigger than a Dixie cup. FLYZLOW in PHOENIX
I'm a female 'vette owner. I've had three: All triple black verts. My husband doesn't understand my fascination with them at all... and he certainly isn't aware of the money I spent/spend on them. The Borla Stingers I just had installed? $300. I've got a credit card I use just for 'vette related expenses... using my work address.
I've had two, my husband just shakes his head when the boxes show up. He doesn't understand the fascination either, but that's his loss. I'm living life with a permagrin!!
