What is the appropriate Optima battery number and where did people buy them?

The 34/78 is a larger battery, but will fit.

34/78 from LAPD. Once you get the battery, call Optima and ask for the topper (top cover to hide the top mount posts). They sent mine to me at no cost, just free for the asking
