Did anyone ever come out with a kit to fix this problem? I have read a couple threads on it and it appears to be a pain in the @#$. If you buy a replacement track for the power seats does that solve it? Probably the most expensive solution.
I had it too on my 01 but was able to have it fixed under warrenty, the dealer invoice said "replaced seat adjuster" or something to that effect
do a search on rocking seats in the help section' I remember seeing a post on fixing your problem

So they will cover it under GMPP warranty? My 02 is starting to do it now. I've been waiting until I have a few things that need to be fixed under warranty so I can get as much fixed for the 100.00 deductible at one time.
I actually don't mind the seat rocking "problem"... sorta makes you feel the acceleration better... makes your seat "fly" back when you take off fast...

Yes it does, but try this. get into your car in work parking lot, put in reverse, push gas a little to hard......seat slides FORWARD mashing down gas pedal very very bad
You don't have to take the tracks off your seat or remove those little plastic *****.
First side took about an hour...second took 10 min.If you have any questions,I would be glad to answer.

Just pulled the driver seat out to fix mine. Thanks for the tip on not removing the frame from the seat. I only need to do one of the tracks. I was hoping for a short cut.
