It's Time to Say Goodbye

I like corvettes and my dad has a new C6 and I'm dying to make my car faster than his - as in that's the bar I'm shooting for.
Hoping with a built up engine and APS TT kit I'll beat him by about 6-7 car lengths.
But as I was saying, the C6 and soon the Z06 will be my benchmark goals because they are FAST cars

currently I have a ton of NA mods for the Z, (intake, plenum, cams, headers, HF cats, exhaust, pulley, clutch, final drive, ECU flash, etc) and lose to him by about 3-4 car lengths in the 1/4 mile.
I actually don't recommend getting NA parts for the Z - it just isn't meant for them and doesn't see that huge of gains. Japanese cars are usually built for FI while American cars are usually NA monsters. Right now with the right NA parts on the Z, you're looking at 450hp at the most and it won't be very streetable - 4.3 stroker kit, hi CR pistons, ITB's, headwork, big cams, etc. No one has done it yet, and it'd cost about 35-38k total to do...vs 20-30k for 600 or higher hp
