Vert Trunk Space?

Vert Trunk Space?
I sold my '02 coupe last fall and we really miss having a vette. My wife wants me to get a vert this time, but from the measurements I've seen, the C6 trunk is too small to hold a transport wheelchair (30" x 24" x 10"). What are the C5 vert trunk dimensions with the top down: width, length, and height? Thanks!

I just measured mine and it's 22-24' X 11 1/2 X 46 between the wheel wells. You should be able to go into a dealership and check it out also. It's going to be close. Good luck with the search.

I would say take it to a few dealers and try it in some. The top does not lay all the way down to the trunk floor in my 04. It looks to have a 4-5" gap when top is down and the trunk floor. Good luck

Thanks for measuring! It sounds a lot more promising than a C6 vert. I'll have to find a dealer with a C5 vert on the lot and see how it fits. When I looked on GMbuypower, I saw there were still a few new, unsold '04s. I wonder what kind of GMS price I could get on a really-leftover '04.

C5 RV I have a chair about the same size as yours.
We have put my chair in my friends 98 vert but was a very tight fit.
I have a 04 coupe plenty of room for my chair easy to get it in and
out and room for other stuff. Oh yes need to carpet to lay over backend to keep from scratching when loading or unloading.
