Default Rant

Ok, I gatta get this off my chest. I am sick and tired of people complaining about their Vette. Today I have read what a piece of $hit they are, how a V10 would be better and several other complaints. Look, I get that our cars are not perfect, CLB, orange peal in the paint and countless other problems for different people. But really, if you don't like it get rid of your Vette and get something else, maybe like that V10. Criticizing is one thing, but degrading is another, and if you think that little of what you have get rid of it. Most people on this forum really don't want to hear how much a piece of crap the car they own is, well at least I don't. I have worked hard for my Vette and I'm damn proud of it, how about you?

Thanks for the time

Darion

Wooo...take it easy there Fella. It's not so bad. Everyone's entitled to their opinions. It's not that important to blow you top over. You know you are driving the car of your dreams and that's all that really matters. It does feel good to let off some steam though. Take care.

I think most of them just forget thet they own a CHEVY

Anyone who is used to the "customer satisfaction" based service departments at high end euro-dealers is in for a shock when they go to the average GM dealer service department.

It's a car, it's a machine, their hasn't been built that hasn't had problems no matter what brand or model, American, European, or Japanese. After they finish complaining about the vette they'll be complaining about some other car. For us true vette lovers it's our passion and we fix what needs fixing.

I hate some of the people on this Forum bitching about the quality of their Vette and in almost the same breath bragging about the $75-$80K sports car they got for $50K. If GM put VE interiors in our Vettes or flawlessly painted them I guarantee they'd be charging $75K.

As long as your happy with your car no matter what it is....that's all that counts....don't pay attention to what others say, everyone's different and has their own opinion....but then again you can just tell the complainers that

Eddie, if this were a rice burning vette,,it would be 150K bare minimum. We put up with a bit of crap from GM, but at least we can afford to buy one.

Exactly. Find me a better car for the money and I'll buy it. The Vette again and again wins in the performance-per-dollar (not to mention looks) categories.

I didn't buy the car to pamper myself. I know there's going to be problems from the cut corners that GM had to take to get this monster of a car available at such a low price. And I bought it anyway.

Yeah dude, I hear ya.

Some people will complain about the stupidist things, even their own cars.
When I had the occasional problem with my FRC and get it back from the dealer (2x) I take it out and drive it like I stole it.
Hit it in fourth on the fw and all is forgiven!
