Well for those waiting...I took in the battery to see what the amps were at but all their system read at the auto store was bad battery because it was so low.....
So my problem was battery related........

Good to hear you got the column to unlock, and you got the CLB. 
I installed the CLB six years ago when I bought my '99 coupe, and never looked back. What many don't know is that even though you get the "recall fix" done, your column can still lock up again!
