Quack! Quack! - Chomp! Chomp!
Tiger Shark here we come!
Here are your last views of my C-5 with the famous Duck Tape Mod.
After the mod...
Before the mod...

I dropped the Vette off at the Body Shop this morning and am waiting for Enterprise Rent-A-Car to come pick me up.
Chris, the shop's owner, and I went over the plan for the repairs together and I provided him with some photos of how I wanted the front fascia vents painted black on the Tiger Shark Nose. Final cost of the repairs will be $1,714.37 to Chris, I already paid for the Tiger Shark nose and the freight.
I will be adding photos to this thread as the work progresses this week.
No real need to include this photo as it doesn't show the duck tape and many of you wouldn't look at it anyway. But I thought you guys would enjoy seeing the nice pickup truck in the background.

Enterprise said they don't have any Vettes available so who knows what I will be driving this week.
Monday Night
Well Enterprise set me up with a Rice Powered SUV of some sort or other. Too ugly and uncomfortable for me to bother to read its name tag.
I went by the shop today and it was sad to look at my Vette with broken pieces laying on the floor around it.
Chris found that the inner fender needs to be replaced too so I told him to order one and I will work it out with the insurance company.
And here is another shot of the Tiger Shark front fascia, all seven of the vents will be painted gloss black and the screens that came with it will be painted gloss black also.

Here is the old fender which was attached with a special secret glue and had to be cut loose with an air chisel. You can see the four spots where it was cut off.

Here is Chris, the shop owner, looking over the new Tiger Shark front Fascia as we were deciding where to set the edges of the black paint in the vents.
More to come...
