Default Exhaust Sounds

I'm sure this has been posted before, but I stumbled on it in a search and thought it might be useful for someone looking for a comparison. I was questioning my decision on the Borla's, but this set me straight. Borla quads it is! I'm sure there are a lot of people that like it a bit louder, but from what I hear, Borla has just the right rumble for me.

If you have the stock exhaust system and are just adding cat backs, then the Borla Stingers have a beautiful sound. My car has headers and high flow cats so it is significantly louder then yours would be.

Here's another with the stock exhaust system and just the Stingers. This is before the Frost King mod as well - lovely sound (IMHO)

I recommend that site to anyone contemplating a new cat-back. For me, though, the decision was made after hearing Borla Stingers at a Dyno day event. I compared it to many other types and I knew that I'd have Stingers before year end. When Borla introduced the quad-tips and a great GP showed up soon afterward, I couldn't resist.
You know what? I never regretted my decision. Suburbans are no longer nicer-sounding than my Corvette!
