I got an email from a guy the other day who is asking me the following

My name is -----------and I am a television producer for World Wrestling
Entertainment. We are broadcasting our weekly Monday Night Raw TV show this
Monday May 30th from the Saddledome in Calgary and we are looking for a flashy
sports car to use in the show. Ideally we are looking for a Corvette, Porsche,
Ferrari, Mercedes, Dodge Viper or something along the lines of these cars. All
the car will be used for is for one of wrestlers to drive up to the arena in. If

So.. i email him back with a picture and get this message

Thanks form writing me back. The car is beautiful. Just what we are looking for.
If you are familiar with our show, the car will be driven by the WWE Champion
Batista. Basically, the shot that we will be using it for would be a very simple
arrival shot. Batista would drive the car up to the arena, take his bags out of
the trunk and then enter the arena. Very simple. No damage will be done to the
car at all. If it still sounds like something you might be interested in, please
give me a call on my cellphone at 203-...-.... and we can discuss the specifics.

Question to you guys should i do it and if so what pro and cons can you think of, also what should i be afraid of and what should i get in writing. i doubt i could ask for anything?

I'd think they could get cars from dealers. They wouldn't be using mine.

Providing the no damage clause sticks it sounds like a buzz

 

Could be pretty cool! If it's just an " arrival shot ", he may only drive the car a hundred yards or so. If it were me, I would at least call him for more details.

 

If I got some tickets to some shows I would do it.

You might get some tickets or money. You can probably be there when they tape it and meet interesting people and maybe get in with the right folks for the future.

Call him, say "OK" and you will be glad you did.

 

Good point they could get the cars from dealers. Besides you will never get the smell out of the car!

 

Just to update i called the guy and they will only drive the car about 100 ft - i get tickets to the show ( untill 1 hour ago i didnt even know who Batista was - i AM NOT a wresting fan at all) it may be fun. The show is live if your a fan. Maybe a good laugh- and they have a stunt man drive not the wrestler. Maybe i will do the driving haha!

 

A stunt man driver? Why? For an arrival shot.

 

They want the car at 3.00pm the Batista guy (wrestler) doesnt show up till later and then they just show him taking his bags out of the back, and they splice the film together This is WWF its all SMOKE AND MIRRORS

 

what the hell,go for it!100 ft...you could walk along out of camera shot to make sure nothing happens!i would!

 

I was going to say, there is no way that dude would fit in your car.

I would find out what they offer put that against the hassel if he scrapes gym bag across deck lid.

honestly i dont know, the car has been in several shows? But i am always open to having some fun, actually i am not even a fan of WWF

 

i'm no fan of the World Wildlife Fund either ...but seriously, i'd personally do it...sounds like it could be a lot of fun...have fun if you go through with it..

 

i also think it would be cool if your car received an appearance fee.. .i dont know how or if that works out though..
