Default BREMBO Rotor

Has anyone used the Brembo rotor? If so are you happy with them. They only cost $290.00 dollars for all four that seemed cheap to me.

I believe Sportbrakes gives a forum discount. I heard 250.00 shipped. Great deal! I had them on my LT4 and will be putting them on the C5 somewhere down the road.

My sportbrakes.com cross drilled/slotted rotors are cracking... gotta replace them now... hasn't even been a year. Daily driven with no track usage... sucks...

Dang Steve sorry to hear that. but unfortunitly that is the reality of Drilled and slotted rotors, track or street use and old technology of D&S and new harder non- aspestous brake pads.

$290 dang that is almost 3 FULL SETS of rotors i.e. 12 rotors.

raybestos rotors at $26 each from NAPA

part #s
86700
86701
86702
86703

No they are not nickle or zinc coated, which must be removed from the braking surface to work properly, it the rotor is shinny it wont stop your car as well as they should and they are not D&S. If you put an "R" after the number then you can get the D&S about $52 each.

Dont be fooled by Marketing and old technology.

I paid like $235 last year shipped.... there was a special at that time. I like the look, but kinda sucks what happened. I guess I expected it overtime, but didnt think it would be "that" fast. The zinc coating on the hub part doesnt stay good looking for a long time. Corrodes a lil...

I will get either slotted or slotted/dimpled next time. NO drilled! I need to get a set here like ASAP... Might throw on the good set of stockers I have on here while I decide. I dont like the idea of cracked rotors.

Mine came from the same company. One thing mentioned is the holes are 3/16" dia. leaving a little more "meat". Supposed to be less prone to cracking. I've only had them on the car for a few weeks so can't tell too much. The finish is good (zinc)I'm very easy on brakes as they just slow you down

The Sport Brakes rotors are Brembo rotors without the name on them! My cousin has had them over a year and they are great!

These drilled and slotted rotors are five years old and have 58,000 miles on them. Not one crack anywhere, they actually look better then when they were New.

My rears are 14 in and New and in a few years will look as nice as My front rotors,,
